====== Josh on... Drugs and Alcohol ======

Josh has an extended history with **drugs and alcohol,** going as far back as [[sagas:The Gothickingcobra52 Saga]] and before. There are few vices the Gothic King has not partaken in, as he wishes to live the "sex, drugs, and rock n' roll" lifestyle to the fullest.

==== Smoking ====

Nicotine is one of Josh's oldest vices, harkening back to his earliest videos. Josh habitually smokes most forms of tobacco, although his primary one is via pipe, usually by grinding cigarette butts up that he collects from his own personal use or from various public ashtrays. Josh has also reviewed various cigarillos, cigars, cigarettes, etc., over his lifetime and it is core to his identity.
==== Alcohol ====

Josh may have loved many women in his lifetime, but they all play second lover to his true sexy goth mistress: Alcohol. \\
To say Josh is an alcoholic is like saying "Those Al-Qaeda guys sure weren't great at landing planes". Josh has streamed drinking until he passes out, vomiting, experimenting with drink combos, and allegedly starting his day off with booze just to cure any hangovers he has. Josh [[objects:mead|also makes his own mead,]] presumably so that he can get drunk on his own terms. Josh's tolerance for alcohol is above average, but nothing particularly special, being able to down nearly 13 Budweisers in one sitting, and whiskey shots to boot. Josh's tolerance for bad alcohol, however, is an entirely different story - Josh has said that Hurricane beer, renowned for its foulness, is particularly good to his tongue, although it's difficult to discern if this is truth, lies, or just a tongue whose tastebuds have been forcibly adjusted to the Boglim diet. 

Josh is so addicted to alcohol at this point in his life that the removal of alcohol from his daily habits would likely cause him significant health problems. 
==== Cannabis ====

Josh has always been particularly antsy about whether or not he does weed recreationally, as Wyoming has not made the use of the drug legal. Despite this, Josh made several videos of himself and Warlord smoking pot during [[sagas:The Post-Wendy's Saga]]. Josh first tried it during [[sagas:The Job Corps Saga]], going to far as to be expelled for its use, and has kept using it ever since. Josh's relationship with weed could be best described as delusional, as Josh would make the statement during [[sagas:The Wandmaker Saga]] that weed cured cancer, AIDS, and autism. 

Josh has also forayed into synthetic cannabinoids such as Spice, although this would not last long - Josh was convinced by trolls that it makes your penis shrink.

==== Aerosols ====

Josh's most notorious addiction is computer duster, typically huffed. Sent to Josh by a fan during The Conquistador Age, Josh took to it almost immediately. Since then, Josh has had a marked reduction in his speed of speech, as well as diminished cognitive and motoric functions, well in line with abusers of duster. It is difficult to say if Josh will stop before he croaks.

==== Nitrous Oxide ====

While several tubes of nitrous oxide have been seen in Josh's trailer on top of his fridge, it appears that Josh is too stupid to understand how to get high off them.

In April of 2018 in a stream, Josh would disclose that he tried meth once at a party by accident, thinking it was a hit of weed. Josh said it "wasn't his scene".

==== Cocaine ====

Josh says he likes cocaine, and refers to it as "booger sugar". Josh's ex-girlfriend and resident swamp hag [[characters:nakedandlaughing|Jessica]] alleges that while at a party, Josh was offered cocaine by a fan, and is the reason he smashed his first phone during [[sagas:The Trailer Saga]].

==== Heroin ====

As of this date, there are no known instances of Josh doing heroin. Which all things considered, is probably for the best.
