 **Clinton "Clint" Saunders** is the biological father of Josh. He is an accomplished father, photographer, business owner and educator, who puts in an effort to be present and supportive in his son's life as much as possible, despite the constant barrage of trolls, haters, sickos and their ilk. He is twice married, a self-employed photographer, and has concerningly sharp nipples.

 Clint was born on the 15th of September, 1969 in Casper, Wyoming, to lovely parents Allen and Sandi Saunders. He attended Natrona County High School in 1987 and was described as an insightful and driven young man with an aptitude for the physical arts: Gymnastics.
 At some point in the past, Clint married Laurel Debbie Anne Goodro and fathered Josh among two other children. In 1996, he and Laurel divorced, and somehow in the legal proceedings earned custody of the BOY.
+Clint is the survivor of a serious car accident that transpired during [[sagas:the_stephanie_saga>#A Calamitous Divination comes true|The Stephanie Saga]], when he was nearly killed when he was forcibly slammed into a semi truck by another vehicle. Despite not having any known long-term injuries from this, the cash settlement was enough to keep him in good financial health for many years to come.

 Clint's work has a generally repetitive nature. Many of his compositions revolve around similar motifs and iconography, such as masks, ladders, simple otherworldly creatures, and surreal landscapes. While these elements might have been powerful in isolation, their overuse renders them predictable and diminishes their impact. His work is generally considered pretty amusing by fans of the Cobraverse, but its novelty wears thin quickly.

+Compared to the bombastic life his son leads, Clint by all accounts seems to lead a quiet, uninteresting life mostly immersed in photography, Irish culture, and teaching students his own photography skills. He lives with his wife Tanis and regularly visits Josh with groceries and (hopefully!) to make sure he's still doing alright.
