Clinton “Clint” Saunders is the biological father of Josh. He is an accomplished father, photographer, business owner and educator, who puts in an effort to be present and supportive in his son's life as much as possible, despite the constant barrage of trolls, haters, sickos and their ilk. He is twice married, a self-employed photographer, and has concerningly sharp nipples.

Clint was born on the 15th of September, 1969 in Casper, Wyoming, to lovely parents Allen and Sandi Saunders. He attended Natrona County High School in 1987 and was described as an insightful and driven young man with an aptitude for the physical arts: Gymnastics.

At some point in the past, Clint married Laurel Debbie Anne Goodro and fathered Josh among two other children. In 1996, he and Laurel divorced, and somehow in the legal proceedings earned custody of the BOY.

Clint's current relationship with Josh can be considered, at best, quite strained. Josh, already being difficult to interact with in any capacity due to his bizarre behavior, also has ODD (oppositional defiant disorder). Since he views Clint as an authority figure and has a compulsive need to rebel against anyone he views this way, he is rather antagonistic in his interactions with him, despite Clint being one of the few people with Josh's best interests at heart.

Over the years, Clint has tried to be involved in Josh's life to some degree, but this is usually in vain. He has attempted to bond with him over shared interests such as woodworking, but Josh is unappreciative and uninterested in these attempts.
