**Michael "Darfliny B" Baldwin,** known to most as Darfliny or just Darf for short, is a recurring Homeboy in the Cobraverse. Instantly recognizable due to his stocky stature and fixation on blacksmithing, Darf is a fan favorite of viewers, bringing a modest and affable vibe to an extremely dark and gothic atmosphere.

===== First appearance =====

In a now-deleted stream, Josh would stream after a long night out partying, only for Darf to suddenly wake up from his drunken bender on the floor of the South Center Apartment, who immediately after waking up has a cigarette.

Darf would make his first intentional appearance in a video where Josh would fire his first shots out of [[objects:The Double Barrel Shotgun]], plugging his channel.

===== Sporadic appearances during The South Center Age =====

Darf would make the occasional appearance during the South Center Age, usually in videos with Josh where they would fire guns at a junkyard. 

The stocky blacksmith would have an uptick in appearances during [[sagas:The Ellen Saga]], appearing in numerous livestreams and uploaded videos, including one where he was seen armed to the teeth. Darfliny makes his most prolific appearances in that saga during [[incidents:Live with darfliny ep.3]] and [[Incidents:The Budweiser Challenge]] where he and Josh would stream their attempt to polish off a 26-pack of Budweiser beer. During the proceeds, Josh and Darf would get progressively drunker while Darf would mumble about how "Mrs. Darf won't be happy now..."

===== Sporadic appearances during The Conquistador Age =====

During The Second Visit of [[characters:nakedandlaughing]], Darfliny would appear in the background, seemingly attempting to talk to Cobes. Darf would talk about how he no longer has to work multiple jobs and is working his way up in the world, only for Josh to seemingly not care at all.

===== Sporadic appearances during The Trailer Age =====

As of 2025, Darfliny has not made any official appearances in Josh's work in the new trailer. However, Darf would livestream from the trailer on his own channel, seemingly keeping watch over a blackout drunk Josh.

===== Personal Life =====

Darfliny lives with his wife and two children(Previously his mother-in-law) in [[places:Casper]], WY. He maintains his own YouTube channel, but overall seems to keep to himself while blacksmithing.  
Darfliny is incredibly pro-police, as one of his most recognizable moments is donating several boxes of girl scout cookies to the [[characters:Casper Police Department]].

==== Yelling at children ====

During the South Center Age, a subreddit user would post a clip of leaked audio which allegedly is of Darflinny yelling at his children. While this claim has never been substantiated, Darf's public image took a hit as a result.

==== Bizarre political takes ====

Darf has an extended set of political takes that set him apart from most human beings - Most notably being his extreme pro-police stance and his belief in sexual activity purely for the sake of procreation.
