 Homeboy Scotty is considered Josh's best friend and closest homeboys. Josh and Scotty met through mutual friends sometime in the 2010s, and have been friends to this day. Scotty has garnered a negative reputation with Josh's fans due to The Bailey and Izzy Saga. Many of Josh's fans believe that Scotty is a liar, untrustworthy and uses Josh for cigarettes and weed.

 On June 11th, 2019, Scotty made a rare appearance during Josh's video gas station food hack. Scotty did not want to be in Josh's video but can briefly be seen sporting a new haircut. The video consisted of Josh creating a custom sandwich using a subway sandwich, extra cheese, Doritos, and beef jerky at a Loaf and Jug. Towards the end of the video when Josh was outside eating his sandwich, Scotty tells Josh not to show his face in the video.

Fans asked Cool Taste what happened, but he didn't say because he promised Scotty he wouldn't say why Scotty wasn't hanging out with Josh anymore.
