**The Dog Collar** is an accessory that Josh has worn for many years, making its first appearances in his school days. Much like the various [[objects:various_hats|hats]] Cobra has worn, the Dog Collar has been through a few iterations itself.


=====The Single Stud Collar=====

The first collar Josh wore in his videos was a thin, studded black collar. This iteration can also be seen in a school yearbook picture. In the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypVEwdqmS_c&t=660s|in the pit with king cobra part one a small introduction to king cobra]] upload, Josh talks about acquiring this collar at a Hot Topic. Josh would wear this up regularly until late October 2017.

=====The Double Down Collar=====

Josh would unveil a new dog collar in a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWHQo_QXBOA|fan mail video]] uploaded on February 14, 2018. This collar would be featured extensively in each saga afterwards and is the collar worn most often in Cobra's videos and live streams.

On August 21, 2022 [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7k0XOHCMXU&t=915s|Cobra added a devil's bell to this collar]].

=====The Triple Threat Collar=====

Another variant of dog collar would be added in to the fray sometime around late 2022 or early 2023. Aside from an additional row of spikes, the collar is visually similar to the Double Down collar, featuring black spikes instead of silver. This collar can be seen in the waning days of the [[places:conquistador apartments|Conquistador Apartment]] days and in the [[:incidents:yourfavoriteson_documentary|YourFavoriteSon Documentary]] up until   [[sagas:The Final Saga]].
