ADA Apartments at 615 S Center St, Apt 108 was Josh's first apartment. This apartment was special to Josh and his fans because of the almost 10 years worth of history documented on Josh's YouTube channel. Josh moved into this apartment on November 6th, 2012 after being kicked out of Job Corps. Sadly, Josh's lease was not extended and was therefore asked to leave his apartment on October 27th, 2020 after a series of events covered in The Eviction Saga.

History

In late June/early July 2012, Josh was kicked out of Job Corps for getting caught smoking weed on campus by a jacket leader. Josh spent four days in a homeless shelter awaiting a greyhound bus back to Casper, Wyoming. Josh said that his dad Clint was furious and gave Josh 2 weeks to find a job, or he would him cut his hair (which was at this time down to shoulder-length). After failing to find a job in the 2 weeks given, Josh was forced to cut his hair. Shortly after moving back in with his family, Clint said that they were thinking of sending Josh to a group home with other children with similar mental disabilities. Josh has referenced this many times and said that he would have committed suicide if this idea would come to fruition.

On July 12th, Josh posted on Facebook that he had got a job working at Wendy's. After being at home or as described by Josh: “four months of hell”, Josh's dad cashed in Josh's savings bonds and began looking for an apartment for Josh. On August 7th, Josh posted on Facebook that his dad was helping him find an apartment.

Moving in On October 17th, Josh's dad Clint said on Facebook that he had paid for a deposit for an apartment for Josh and did not specify where in the town the apartment was located. On November 5th, Clint posted on Facebook announcing that Josh was moving into the apartment and divulged information about Josh's work schedule at Wendy's. On November 6th, Clint said that Josh was moved into his apartment and that he was on his way to assemble Josh's iconic workbench that Clint had crafted himself.

In the comments section of this post, Clint's mother enquired about the distance from Josh's apartment to his job at Wendys. Clint said that Wendys was not very close to his apartment and tried to get Josh to spend an extra $100 a month, but Josh declined. Many have speculated that Josh chose to be as far away as possible from his family home and closer to downtown Casper, so he could frequent local bars and other establishments.
