Painting a wand

Original Video: Painting a wand

Transcript

Good fine evening tubes. So yesterday I went and I gathered supplies to finish my batch of wands. However, I was a couple dollars short of getting some leather string so I have money that I transferred from keyspring. transferred from key spring that I can use to buy the leather string I need to finish my batch. Right now I have the glow in the dark wand. I just finished painting it and now waiting for it to dry. And when you're applying glow-an-dark spray paint you want to have a base coat of white. I let it dry and then add your glow-an-ark spray paint to it. And it'll help the spray paint show up better when you, you know what I'm saying, and basically the way you charge the wand to make it glow in the dark is you use natural light or artificial light, one of the two. So once this wand is done drying, I want to put some mod-podge on the wand itself that way. I can protect the Gold Mother Dark spray paints and coming off that sort of thing. Earlier today, or yesterday I should say, I went to the Wonder Gift Shop and picked up a Quartz Crystal to help finish my next scepter for Etsy and even though I had a general idea of what I was looking for the lady over at the Wonder Gift Shop was very helpful in helping me select a nice courts crystal for Deceptor. She even saw me ride up on my bike. She's like it's a cool bike and I'm like thanks. Yeah man. I'm telling you YouTube you two chicks dig the bike, man. That little three-speed chopper that I got. And right after buying the supplies, I needed to finish building my wands. I ended up being a couple bucks short on getting the leather for the handle, but That's all right. I'm getting it taken care of in a couple hours or so. Now this courts crystal has a longer ends right here the shorter ends right here. So I want to stick the longer end pointed out like that. Now the lady who owns the wonder gift shop here in town is a licensed geologist of sorts. So basically, I'm, well, God damn it. Oh shit, excuse me. I meant, God damn it? Oh shit, excuse me. I meant to say it was trained geologist. She has a degree and that sort of thing. So whenever she goes to pick up Quartz Crystals for her gift shop, she knows exactly what to look for. This right here, YouTube is real quartz, cut, polished, yeah. They had a quartz crystal in there that were struck by lightning but they wanted 50 bucks for that. Understandable. It would look cool on the scepter. but they wanted 50 bucks for that. Understandable. It would have looked cool on the scepter but… Yeah that's uh… who we… There's like about that much glow-loin of spray paint left because I burned through practically the whole can trying to figure out, okay, I'm trying to figure out, okay, why isn't it working? When I could have read the directions which clearly states, for best results, use a light base coat paint before applying. Huh. Then you look at the picture of these in the front of the can and it makes sense because usually the things like they show on the front of the can and it makes sense because usually the things like they show on the front of the spray paint can like the light switch and what have you are already white to begin with so that makes total sense. At first I was worried that I'd wasted my money on paint that doesn't work, but then come to find out, I didn't use the proper steps in making it happen. And basically, if you want the wand to glow in the dark, you're going to charge it with light. And that's it. After this is done drawing I basically got one more wand to carve and paint. And that's the Scepter. I love watching a batch of ones come together. It's so nice. Excuse me. But yeah, I don't want to make this video too fucking long. Long enough to let you know, as you can see right there, I have the glittled and dark wand being painted. And once it's done drawing, as soon as I've done the drawing, The glow in the dark spray paint and the white. I can instantly tell it instantly looked a lot more glow in the dark colored. three when it dries. Yeah, this will work not the right word. I seem to make decent enough money selling these on Etsy, so… Oh yeah. Look at these b that have been given. So if you're going to apply glomedarck spray paint to anything anything and you have to make sure that you know it's white on the base coat before you add it. Let's take a look real quick. Yeah. I turn on thinking, okay how the fucking line I take pictures from my wands when I got my phone and I remembered, oh yeah, photo booth. This. I mean I can make pictures, take wouldn't take pictures of them holding their own product, but All depends on what you're selling I guess but That's cool looking, it's like an off-wide kind of. But pretty much after that wand right there is done drying. The carving is going to take to finish the scepter is going to be a bit more noisy. So I'll have to wait till tomorrow. I'll be doing that when I get back from the store. I get back from the store. I'll be doing that when I get back from the store, I'll just picking up some weather string. watching being dry doesn't get much fun than this So I'll probably be the first one to have my watch too, once all said and done, done drying and shit. Hopefully it'll still be able to charge with the light when I add the lodge to it. I don't see why I wouldn't once the lodge is pauges down drying. Now waiting for him to dry is the sucky part, but watch them come together, That's the cool part Anyways, this is a King Cobra JFS back at you with another video Getting them wands done as quickly as I can. Thank you for watching. Catch y'all later.
