The Double Down Loop

The Double Down Loop is an ongoing rant that Cobra will occasionally bring up in reference to KFC's Double Down Chicken Sandwich, a limited item on their menu.(1) The Double Down was by far one of Cobra's favorite food items from KFC, and perhaps his favorite food outright. The Double Down was cancelled sometime in early 2023, which led to a notable embittered and somber rant about the loss in a “KFC Food Review”(2) video uploaded on April 8, 2023, in which he mentions the double down over 90 times and laments its removal from KFC's menu. Several other videos were made after that in which Cobra will occasionally start looping over the loss of the double down, and to this day he will still bring it up when KFC is mentioned or featured in one his videos. Josh was so forlorn over the loss of the sandwich that he attempted to make his Double Down food hack to try to relive his favorite food item(3)(4).
