My original take, and then I literally had to delete it because it was being so heavily misunderstood and I posted a clarifying tweet, which I will then go through in a moment. So my original tweet was simply that if you care about reducing child abuse, then we need to be willing to de-stigmatize pedophilia. He said it. De-stigmatizing it is not going to change it. Continuing to stigmatize it will continue to encourage people to get help. Let me ask you this, Hunter, and all these assholes who are standing up for him and shit. Mass shootings are a problem in our society as well. Does that mean the solution to mass shootings should be, oh hey if you're tired of kids getting shot up in a school and let's just arm every kid with an AR-15 because I'll totally fix everything right?
