Original Video: repairing the rosta staff

Filly Youtber, I just got done drinking a mics harder strawberry pineapple lemonade This stuff is delicious dude I'm like oh, that's new flavor Now my buddy Jeremy roster Jeremy as you know him He just got out of surgery and Uh, well his staff has been broken for a couple months and right as he was going through surgery I fixed up his staff. How did the staff break? Well the old crystal that he had in it the courts popped out and he lost it. I'm like well that sucks. Let's see if he can't fix this a little bit. I've developed a technique for making my crystal wands that not only makes them look good, but it holds it in place. I just got done finishing his staff. It's still drying on the mod-podge on certain areas. But that thing just kicks ass, like it kicks more ass than when it originally was made. So I was feeling Jeremy's really gonna like the staff when he sees it. He just got out of the surgery a couple hours ago so I'll give him a call here in a bit, see where he's at, if he's not home, then I'll wait. But if he's at home, I'll walk it up to his house for him and then collect some wand wood on the way while I'm doing it. Like I have no problem with walking up to my buddy Jeremy's house to deliver his staff for him. That thing just… Oof. This looks like some shit you'd buy at a wizard shop, I shit you not. So hopefully, and it should stay in there, I saw what the issue was with when it first popped out. And so I had to completely replace the courts at the end of it but totally worth it. You know, totally worth it. Oh yeah. At this point you're going, well damn it Cobra, you have my curiosity peaked. Take a look at this, here's the end of it. There's still spots of it like right here where the around the quartz crystal especially and where it sits. Now the modpage will dry, clear and super shiny. That's why when you see the spots where it's completely dried, it's really shiny. Yippers. Now this is a nice staff. I want to set it by the window to dry a little bit faster. It's dry enough I can take it off the paint cans. And move it closer to the window so it dries a little bit faster. And hopefully this fixes the issue. It should though, because this new technique that I've developed when making these… Yes. Like these staff is tall enough for even for me. If I were to sell something like this on EDC I'd probably charge like 200 bucks for it honestly. Because this is a full-sized, very solid staff. And here's the best part of it. I call Jerry, I mean, told him his staff was almost undrying, that I fixed it up. And it is too, like there's all that white that you see right here, all over it, is going to dry and when it dries, it's going to dry clear and really shiny. But that's just pretty. My buddy Jeremy is a Rostafarian so he so he wanted a Rostaf staff. Yeah I brought this bastard back to life. Yeah. I brought this bastard back to life. That's just sick, dude. Hell yeah. righteous. Oh yeah, I made that staff solid again. That is… Oh… Now I'm telling you right now, you too. Jeremy gets a lot of compliments on it when he walks around town. There's a lot of techniques that I use to make the crystaled wands and I'm not going to devouge how I do that. Or you know the word, I don't think devouge is even a word. Well Jeremy's staff was one of the wands I made and I take pride in my wands. And there's nothing wrong with that YouTube. I've developed a legit business out of it. I've been doing the lawn business for over two years. And making lawns, honestly, making lawns helps with my depression. I know that sounds weird, but it's the truth. It gives me something to distract my mind, you know, watching go from start to finish. I've had the fixture of me staff a couple times, but when he lost the court's crystal for it, I'm like, going to have to buy a new one and possibly re-drill it and then remount the crystal and all that good shit. And when I went to go put the new crystal in it, I saw what the issue was and I fixed it. So hopefully it doesn't pop out again. Which at this point, I don't think it's going to pop out. I really don't. The technique I've developed for my wands, it looks kick-ass, and it holds that sucker in place. and the staff helps with his epilepsy. So occasionally he'll walk around town with it. And it's gotten a lot of positive comments from people like, do, that thing kicks ass. But yeah, I like the way I restored that staff for my buddy. That just looks kick-ass. It's solid too. It's weird because the energy it had when I first got it was kinda, eh, but then the energy it has now, after fixing it, it's different. It feels like a staff again. Ma-ha.
