Original Video: tubeing up wands

What is up you tube sitting here getting the wands tubed up from the latest batch? I try to get these wands tubed up before 5. That's not going to happen. So we'll get them in the mail on Monday. Yeah. I want to show you how I do it. Okay. I want to show you how we do it. Okay, I want to show you how we go about tubing the wands at Cobra Craft handmade wands. All right, so we got to set the camera down. We got our last wand tube up for the evening. This is the gold wand. It's got copper wire and leather for the handle. Every wand in this batch had that same style of handle. Copper and leather, it looks real nice. So, what I want to do is I want to show you how I do this. Step one, we're going to take our tube, set the one down to hit here, so that tube doesn't go anywhere. Step two, we're going to take the shipping label and we're going to tape it to our tube. All the shipping labels are typed out on the computer, so that way it makes it easier to read for the post person to deliver. So what we're going to do now is just like I said get it get it going. Take our tape and I want to make sure that all of the shipping label is covered. That way the shipping label doesn't get damaged while it's being mailed off. So I like to make sure that… Oh, sorry about that. I like to make sure that the shipping label is covered. Step one, get that shipping label on there. Step two, let's get a cap for it. There we go. Step three, we're going to take some scrap paper and put it in there to package some scrap paper and put it in there to package it better just to make sure that it doesn't move around too much. Now I'm going to take the wand, I want to push the packaging down just like that. All right. Now once I've got the wand in there where it's not going to move around, now we're almost done with this one. Now the next thing I'm going to do is a handwritten certificate. So before we seal off that package completely, a handwritten certificate. Now unless you request a special message like a special message like a birthday wish or what have you They're all right that but everyone comes with a handwritten certificate forget. So now the next thing I want to do for this tubing process is either roll it up or fold it up one of the two roll it up fold it up whichever and hmm hmm doesn't look like it's gonna fit a bit. hmm., it doesn't look like it's going to fit. Sometimes I try to wrap it around the wand. Oh look, we've got a guest for our show. Who's that? Who's that right there? Is that Sadie? there is that Sadie? No that's not a chew toy Sadie that's not a chew toy. Oh Sadie. Every time I come over to two butt wands all three of them dogs you like, hey it's Josh. Well, well, now I'm going to… Sometimes I'll roll the wands and the certificates if I can make room. They're rolled up and put on top or they're folded up and put in there. Either way you shape it, every wand comes with a handwritten certificate. Okay. So I want to go ahead. There we go. Pack it down in there, just like that. All right, cool. Now that we have our wand and our certificate in there unscathed. We're going to take this final cap and we're going to put it on top. And then to get it ready for shipping we're going to need to put some tape on either end. So one would suffice but I like to put two on either end just for safety. So there's two pieces. I tried to get these done before 5 o'clock but as usual that never happens. So I will get these wands in the mail on Monday. You already know, what's up? Basically, the only difference between tubing them up is sometimes the certificates will get folded up and put in there if I can't roll it around the wand So yeah Thanks for watching tubes.
